CLM298 is a dual-channel full-bridge motor driver chip, specifically designed for high-voltage and high-current applications. It is designed to accept standard TTL logic levels and drive inductive loads.Two enable inputs are provided to enable the device independently of the input signals. The emitters of the lower transistors of each bridge are connected together and the corresponding external terminal can be used for the connection of an external sensing resistor. An additional supply input is provided so that the logic works at a lower voltage. Built in freewheeling diode to prevent back electromotive force impact, integrated overheating shutdown and overcurrent protection, improving system reliability. It also supports PMW speed regulation, adjusting motor speed through duty cycle. The product is widely used in industrial control, robotics, automation equipment, DC motors, stepper motors, and inductive load drive control.
