Product Introduction

CLM5356 is a frequency synthesizer that can be combined with an external loop filter and an external reference frequency to form a decimal N-division or integer N-division phase-locked loop (PLL) frequency synthesizer, which can flexibly meet the frequency output requirements of different accuracies. The device adopts a broadband microwave VCO design, with dual radio frequency (RF) output terminals covering an ultra wide frequency range: one end directly outputs high-frequency signals from 6.8 GHz to 13.6 GHz; On the other end, a configurable frequency divider is used to achieve wideband output from 53.125 MHz to 6800 MHz. Its core configuration is an integrated VCO, with a basic output frequency range of 3400 MHz to 6800 MHz. By selecting circuits with frequency ratios of 1, 2, 4, 8, 16, 32, or 64, the VCO frequency can be gradually reduced, and a minimum RF output signal of 53.125 MHz can be generated to meet the frequency requirements of multiple scenarios. For isolation scenarios, the RF output stage supports mute function, which can be activated through pin hardware control or software control. All on-chip registers are configured through a simple three wire interface for easy operation. In terms of power supply, the analog and digital power supply voltage range of CLM5356 is 3.15 V to 3.45 V, and the charge pump and VCO power supply voltage range is 4.75 V to 5.25 V. In addition, the device also integrates hardware and software shutdown modes for system power management. The product can directly pin to pin replace similar international products without the need to change the circuit board or system software, achieving complete compatibility and replacement. Chiplon Microelectronics has developed its own testing plan to ensure that the factory products meet or even exceed the original specifications, supporting industrial grade working temperatures (-40 ℃~85 ℃).
