Product Introduction

CLM4371 is a frequency synthesizer that can be used with an external loop filter and an external reference frequency to form a decimal N-division or integer N-division phase-locked loop (PLL). As a microwave broadband voltage controlled oscillator (VCO), its design supports generating a wide range of frequencies from 62.5MHz to 32GHz. CLM4371 is equipped with a built-in VCO, with a fundamental output frequency range of 4000MHz to 8000MHz, and flexible frequency division function: users can obtain radio frequency (RF) output as low as 62.5 MHz through 1, 2, 4, 8, 16, 32 or 64 times frequency division on the RF8 interface. In addition, the device achieves high-frequency output through multi-stage frequency doubling: the multiplier generates frequencies from 8 to 16 GHz at the RF16 interface; The quadrupler generates frequencies ranging from 16 to 32GHz at the RF32 interface; The RFAUX8 interface can replicate the frequency range of RF8 or directly connect to the VCO output. To suppress the useless product generated during the frequency doubling process, a harmonic filter needs to be configured between the frequency multiplier and the output stages of RF16 and RF32. The product can directly pin to pin replace similar international products without the need to change the circuit board or system software, achieving complete compatibility and replacement.
